Dicle News Agency (DIHA) Diyarbakýr Regional News Director Sertaç Kayar was released on Thursday evening after being subjected to a series of judicial proceedings at Diyarbakýr Court.

Kayar was reportedly detained by police on Thursday on the grounds of an arrest warrant issued for him in the scope of an earlier lawsuit filed against him.

The news director was taken into custody for the same reason in the district of Kulp on 29 June and he was released one day later.
