The Central Executive Committee of DKP / BÖG (Revolutionary Communard Party/United Freedom Forces) made a statement on the occasion of the 42nd founding anniversary of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

The statement said, “We remember with respect all the martyrs immortalized in the struggle for freedom and we celebrate the PKK and its military structure in the new year of struggle, which is one of the leading forces of our united revolutionary struggle, which has inspired all the peoples of the region with the guerrilla struggle it has developed in four parts of Kurdistan, especially in the colonialist Turkish state for 42 years and has set out as the resurrection movement of the Kurdish people.”

“IT IS AN HONOR TO BE ON COMMON FRONT WITH THE PKK”

The statement also included the following:

“We have been feeling honored to have a common front with the PKK and to fight, resist and pay the price together in many positions as a part of a united revolutionary struggle since we began to crown Turkey's working class and oppressed peoples’ liberation struggle with a revolution. At first, our founding leader Ulas Bayraktaroğlu and many pioneering figures contributed to a coalescence of our bloods by fighting together in a unified revolutionary struggle against colonialism and fascism in Rojava, Dersim, Afrin. Moreover, this coalescence of our blood has become the mortar of the common fate of Turkey’s working class and the oppressed Kurdish people. Our party which continues its struggle for the emancipation of the working class and the oppressed peoples of Turkey declares once again that an internationalist revolution in Turkey can only be realized through a strategic alliance to be established with the PKK and the united revolution of two peoples.

Under roof of HBDH (Peoples' United Revolutionary Movement) which consists of the vanguard parties of working class of Turkey and the Kurdish people and acts under a united staff, the revolutionary mobilization campaign called 'We Will Destroy Fascism, We Will Win Freedom' and the victory march we started against fascism will remove colonialism from the soils of Anatolia and Mesopotamia by translating the language of mountains into the metropolises of Turkey.

“THE YEAR OF VICTORY”

Fascist government and NATO forces are trying to surround the guerilla areas, the PKK in four parts of Kurdistan and the united forces of the Revolutionary Movement of Turkey which ally with the PKK in Turkish metropolises. While this plan of the fascist government is defeated every day by the guerrilla, the rising resistance of the working class, especially in Izmir, Istanbul and Ankara, the women’s struggle for freedom and the line of action of our united forces are responding to this siege for the absolute defeat of fascism. Those who think that the freedom struggle of the oppressed peoples and the working class can be destroyed are preparing their own ends.

We celebrate once again the 27th of November, day of the foundation of the PKK, which has thousands of martyrs and tens of thousands of prisoners, including Hâkî Karer, Mazlum, Kemal, Sakine, who fought selflessly against Turkish colonialism for 42 years, and the PKK’s victory march. In the meantime, November marks the 6th year of the 'November Breakthrough', which prepared the founding of the revolutionary armed force of our party, the United Freedom Forces (BÖG). The new year of struggle will be the year of victories.”
