Dozens have been reported killed in multiple attacks that have hit French capital Paris late Friday evening. Various sources put the number of dead between 20 and 40.

An armed attack has targeted “Le Carillon” restaurant in the 10th arrondissemen, leaving more than 10 people dead. The armed attack was reportedly carried out by two assailants.

A simultaneous attack targeted Bataclan concert hall where also many have been reported killed, in addition to dozens taken hostage.

The wave of attacks also involved two explosions heard outside the Stade de France stadium north of Paris during a France-Germany football match.

French President Francois Hollande who was also in the stadium was safely taken out of the area and rushed to the crisis desk to deal with the yet unidentified series of deadly attacks.
