DTK call special meeting on Democratic Autonomy

In a meeting in Diyarbakir, Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Permanent Council made a call to all its constituents for an extraordinary meeting in Diyarbakir on 14 July to discuss the declaration of the Democratic Autonomy.

The weekly meeting of Democratic Society Congress in Diyarbakýr has ended. Giving information after the meeting which was held closed to the press, DTK Spokesman Cemal Coþkun stated that the basic discussion points of the meeting were the current political process, the government's attitude towards the process, BDP's boycott decision, the delegate elections on 24 July and the preparation for the general meeting on 30-31 July. Çoþkun added that the calls of BDP member Mayors and Peace Mothers Initiative for the "declaration of democratic autonomy" were also evaluated during the meeting.

Çoþkun noted that the DTK, with all its constituents and 850 delegates, will gather on July 14 in Diyarbakýr to discuss the "declaration of democratic autonomy" in detail at the Vedat Aydýn  Conference Hall in BDP Diyarbakýr Provincial Building. (B.O.)
