DTK (Democratic Society Congress) permanent assembly started its works this morning in Diyarbakýr. The assembly will discuss about the initiative for the freedom of Kurdish leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The assembly was elected at the congress last weekend by 850 delegates. The congress elected 101 members to the assembly. Among the other things to be discussed are the establishment of a commission to monitor and organize inititatives against the Iranian aggression, the national Kurdish conference, the new Constitution and the Democratic Autonomy project.
