The Duisburg Green Left Party Election Commission met to make sure that everything is ready for the 14 May elections ahead of today’s opening of the polling stations in Europe.

The meeting, held at the Green Left Party election office, was attended by representatives of many institutions. Tasks were shared, especially regarding the transport of people to the polling stations and ensuring the safety of the ballot boxes.

The members of the commission said that they will carry the people to the Düsseldorf Turkish Consulate every day from today until 9 May.

It was also noted at the meeting that election stands will be open until 9 May as canvassing will continue.
