An earthquake was registered in Van this morning. The Kandilli Observatory announced the intensity of the earthquake as 4.5, and said its epicenter was in the village of Aydemir in Başkale.

The earthquake that occurred 5.8 kilometers deep was felt in the city center and surrounding provinces.
