Another operation of political elimination has been carried out by Turkish security forces in the province of Batman last night.

Police raided a number of houses in an expansive operation which began with a detailed search in all the houses and ended up with the detention of 8 people who were accused of participating last month's protest demonstrations in solidarity with the Kobanê resistance.

While those taken into custody have been taken to the political branch of Batman police headquarters, the number of detainees is expected to increase.
