Turkish police carried out raids in many houses targeting the HDP in the district of Elbistan in Maraş.

HDP Elbistan District executives Ali Kısa, Elif Kısa, Halil Hosoglu, Bekir Kara, Hatun Bark, Ibrahim Mayir, Dilek Bekir and Mehmet Dilekci were taken into custody as a result of the raids.

The grounds for detention could not be learned.
