Election Notes II

Election Notes II

We have left an intensive period behind and we are on the verge of even a more intensive period.

Before assessing the election results, I should send my thanks to my comrades.

Words will fail to express my gratitude and admiration to the BDP Istanbul provincial and district organizations.

Despite the thousand obstacles and repressive operations, they run such a lively campaign that indeed mine was usually a role of watching with admiration and trust.

We always took the determination, revolutionary intelligence and courage of the women comrades in the whole process as an example.

If the Kurdish people have achieved something today, it is mostly because of the struggle fought by women.

The Nor Zartonk Initiative, which carried out significant studies to provide the intellectual development of Turkey's peoples as to the Turkey Armenian society, not only made our meeting with the Armenian society possible, but also made significant contributions in terms of determining the frame of our campaign.

Our companionship solidarity will continue uninterrupted.

The socialist members of Labor, Democracy and Freedom Block have been an outstanding example of  revolutionary self-sacrifice, solidarity and struggle.

Thanks to them, many activities, including relations with the press, monitoring and regulation of social media areas, have incessantly progressed.

Their determination in commenting the developments with a labor-oriented class consciousness and transforming these developments into new policies will also be our guide when drawing our next roadmap.

Kurdish and Turkish young people gave us strength every time we got tired.

Our hopes for the future increased thanks to them.

LGBTT members broadened our horizon about solidarity, learning and objecting.

They can regard us as their representatives until they have a real representative in the parliament.

No one should doubt that we will bare in mind when acting this responsibility and consciousness.

The Assyrian, Syriac, Chaldean, Muslim, Armenian, Alewi, Greek and Êzidîs representatives of many beliefs always sent their supports to us.

This writing may not be enough to list all of our supporters.

In this respect, I would like to thank everyone not mentioned, here.

All of these efforts resulted in the peoples of Turkey offering a significant support to our Block in terms of defending labor, peace and freedoms.

And this thing is much more important than the loss or victory of other parties which prioritize the language of war.

We can work in a significant way when putting into practice the ideas of liberation and cooperation in trying to change the assembly into a democratic ground.

With a patient effort, we can break the monolith concepts that have been created in minds and hearts for many long years.

Without any hosts and guests, we can lay great tables against all kinds of discrimination.

We will not find any obstacle in front of us to succeed unless we forget our words, history, direction and supporters.
