Event in solidarity with Green Left Party takes place in Melbourne

A night of solidarity with the Green Left Party was organized in Melbourne.

The Labor and Freedom Alliance organized a solidarity night with the Green Left Party in Melbourne, Australia.

The meeting, attended by more than 300 people, started with a minute's silence in memory of the martyrs of freedom and democracy.

Speaking in Kurdish, Herki Zagros said: "Today, it is not possible to repair the damage caused by AKP rule in Turkey, but your support to the Green Left Party tonight will put an end to the AKP regime."

Nilgün Olcayöz from the Turkish People's Association said: “As the third alliance, we must send 100 deputies to the parliament so that we can have a say as a key party. We have to work hard for this.”

The night ended with the dance and the music of Erkan Binboğa and Ṣivan Bektaş.
