Explosion hits Kirkuk-Yumurtalýk pipeline
An explosion was reported on Friday night on the Kirkuk-Yumurtalýk oil pipeline as a result of an attack by Peoples Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas.
Oil flow in the pipeline -passing through Midyat district of Mardin- was completely interrupted as the fire hasnt been taken under control since the explosion at around 22:30 local time last night. The fire fighters at the scene are trying to extinguish the fire gradually and civilians arent allowed into the area.
