Explosion in Ankara: governor to speak soon - UPDATE

An explosion occurred this morning in Ankara central area of Kýzýlay.

It is not clear what caused the explosion but many injured have been reported as the explosion involved a bus.

Deputy Prime Minister Beþir Atalay said there are no casualties but there are as many as 15 wounded, some in serious conditions.

Other reports speak of one dead.

The explosion occurred where government building are located, close to the the prime minister's office and general staff's office. An eyewitness said it was a very heavy explosion, the fire rose up to 20 meters.

A suspicious women in the area has been taken into custody

It appears that 1 minibus and 6 vehicles were burnt.
