At least fifteen people have been injured in an explosion in the city of Hakkari on Thursday.

It was not immediately clear what caused the explosion.

The blast took place on a major street at the city center.

One people is reported dead, according to DIHA News Agency.

After the blast a skirmish erupted between police and people in the city. Police attacked the small crowd with tear gas.
