One specialist sergeant died, according to initial reports coming, as a result of a mine explosion in the rurals of Hakkari, in an area close to the Kekliktepe base in Çukurca district where HPG (People's Defence Forces) attacked on Wednesday night, killing dozens of soldiers.

The explosion occurred during the operations conducted by the Turkish army in the region.
