An explosion occurred in a garbage container in Wasit Arb Nishin neighborhood of Kirkuk last night. The explosion was reportedly caused by an improvised explosive device.

One person died and two others got wounded as a result of the explosion. The wounded have been taken to Kirkuk Republic Hospital and an investigation has been launched at the scene.
