According to local sources, the explosion occurred on Monday night in a warehouse containing paint and thinner cans belonging to a “humanitarian aid association".
The injured people received first aid medical attention on the site before being moved to hospitals. The firefighters extinguished the fire not without problems.
On 5 July three people were killed in the province of Reyhanlı as a result of an explosion of a parked car.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a bomb was the cause of the explosion.
