According to the initial reports received, the explosion occurred in Övenç region of Þemdinli district, killing three soldiers and injuring other three. While the wounded soldiers have been taken to Hakkari Military Hospital, the operations in the region are reported to continue.

Meanwhile, human shields in Narlý Village of Çukurca district have been blocked by soldiers and attacked with gas bombs.
