Members of the Platform of Êzidî Artists held a demonstration in Bremen, Germany in protest at the KDP attack on Shengal.

Êzidî artists expressed their solidarity with guerrillas and YBŞ/YJŞ fighters against the attacks and called on the German government to take action against the KDP using weapons given to it to fight against ISIS against Êzidîs.

A statement on behalf of the Platform of Êzidî Artists condemned the KDP's betrayal against Êzidîs, recalling that Êzidî people formed their defense forces YBŞ/YJŞ to protect and defend themselves.

Remarking that the KDP's attack on Shengal was planned in Ankara, the statement called attention to the plans being made to choke Rojava in the same concept.

The statement also pointed out plans Barzani has been making for the benefit of his tribe over the blood of people, and stressed that Êzidî Kurds are not alone nor unclaimed.

Êzidî artists urged the EU to abide by the decision it made regarding the autonomy of Shengal, and called for the recognition of YBŞ/YJŞ as the defense force of Êzidi land.
