Mehmet Öcalan, brother of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan and his tutelar Mazlum Dinç were denied permission to visit Öcalan by the Bursa Public Prosecutor's Office.

The application filed by Ömer Hayri Konar's brother Emin Konar, Hamili Yıldırım's brother Polat Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş's brother Melihe Çetin and his daughter Eylem Çetin were also rejected.

The Prosecutor's Office cited the rejection decision as "restrictions imposed on convicts as per Law on the Execution of Criminal and Security Measures No. 5275."
