Ferhat Pala, one of the HDP Van youth council members involved in helping the earthquake victims in Pazarcik, said that many buildings were destroyed and the people were left unattended. Pala added: “The situation is deplorable. We are trying to deliver the aid that is available from here to the peoples and villages."

The young HDP activist, said that they need heating tools, diapers, baby food and blankets, and added that the incoming aid is not enough for people.

Pala said: “I am specifically addressing our people here. As soon as they can, they should send food, biscuits, especially things for children. Since it is winter and the weather is cold, there are also needs such as blankets, tents and stoves.”
