Dersim territory is quite efficient in terms of human resources. But a corrupt identity has been tried to be built systematically on the brains of Dersim after 1938. Dersim’s spirit of resistance, which is intended to be ground down among the system’s wheels, has always showed itself in various areas. The most significant ones are no doubt the art and artists.
Dersim itself is a fertile mother. It has mostly brought up writers and intellectuals who research into the history, read, write and always set sail for new scientific horizons. Once again, it has brought up artists and singers who touch the melodies of hearts with their poignant voices. The writers and artists of Dersim have always adopted and protected their motherland Dersim. Literally, they are the most auspicious children of Dersim. The momentous synergy they created on Dersim’s people should never be ignored.
Regardless of their political spectrums, the writers and artists of Dersim admire and adhere to their lands. As the necessity of this admiration and loyalism, Ferhat Tunç is blazing a trail in this circle in Dersim. Being the “certified representative” of its people besides his artist and writer identity, he aims to scatter peace seeds around into the air.
Ferhat Tunç bears the hope in his eyes. As a member of Dersim’s tradition, beliefs, brotherhood, humanism and people, Tunç wants to break the locks of the closed silver doors. With his artisan spirit and breath, he wants to introduce a city, which is restrained behind silver doors, to the outside world.
Very at this point, some missions fall to Ferhat Tunç’s artist-writer friends in this process which evolves into the new pages of a historical curve. They should stand behind him and support him.
Ferhat Tunç is in Dersim now. He visits districts and villages and meets hearts from Dersim. His writer and artist friends now need to witness these important days and hold deep conversations with the people he sees.
The writers and artists from Dersim should be with Ferhat Tunç on the lands they were born. They should share his pleasure of meeting and shouldn’t deprive these lands of solidarity of artists. The fact should never be ignored that the lands, covered with the blood of their ancestors, are in a great need of such solidarity.
One more thing to be remembered is that it is Ferhat Tunç’s turn now. However, it is inevitable that the task will belong to another writer-artist tomorrow because the dirty politics accounts, tribal ties, old-boy networks and finagled protocols could never find their real owners so far. Here, the success of Ferhat Tunc means the clutter of these dirty relations. From now on, the approved representatives of the people of Dersim will be crowned with names from the artisan circle.
For the people of Dersim, writers and artists in particular, "Ferhat Tunç" is the password name of the destruction of these dirty politics in Dersim.
