Intense and violent clashes are taking place in neighbourhoods to the east of Kobanê between the ISIS gangs carrying out intensified attacks on Kobanê and the YPG forces heroically resisting the attacks. ISIS attacks from the southern front are also facing strong resistance from the YPG.

The historic Kobanê resistance against the attacks of the gangs continues in a heroic way on its 22nd day. According to information obtained from an ANHA reporter on the ground, the attacks of the ISIS entering the eastern neighbourhood of Kobanê have continued the whole night. Responding strongly to the attacks, the YPG fighters inflicted heavy casualties on the gangs. Having obtained no result from the attacks, the gangs have suffered dozens of losses.

Violent clashes took place on the southern, eastern and western fronts of the city all through the night. While the exact numbers of the casualties of the gangs have not been clarified, the clashes have reportedly intensified on the eastern and southern fronts in the morning hours.
