The hearing of the case filed with the allegation of "insulting the president" against Figen Yüksekdağ, co-chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) was heard at the Ankara 10th High Criminal Court.

The case has been opened using the written statement made about the arrest of journalists Can Dündar and Erdem Gül.

The lawyers of Yüksekdağ and Erdoğan attended the hearing. Yüksekdağ did not attend the hearing due to health problems.

The court board postponed the hearing to 11 February 2021.
