Police forces stormed several houses in Pazarcık district of Maraş province early this morning. HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) district branch co-chair Naci Kızıler, former co-chair Murat Güvenç and party administrators İbrahim Ganidağlı and Mesut Gözlügöl and another person have been detained in the operation.

The HDP members were taken into custody for allegedly “providing financial aid to an illegal organisation” and taken to the security directorate.
