Five soldiers killed in Hakkari and Van
Peoples Defense Forces Press Office HPG-BIM released a statement on recent clashes between Turkish army and HPG forces in the provinces of Hakkari and Van.
HPG-BIM reported that 5 soldiers died and 15 others were wounded in two separate operations in the last two days.
Three soldiers died and 15 were wounded in the Turkish army operation near Yüksekova district of Hakkari on 22 July, said HPG statement and noted that two other soldiers died in a separate operation near Baþkale district of Van on the 23rd.
HPG-BIM added that guerrilla forces destroyed a truck carrying military supply to an outpost in Mazgirt district of Dersim on 22 July.
