Around 300 students in the provinces of Diyarbakýr, Sivas, Sakarya and Edirne were hospitalized on Wednesday suffering from poisoning caused by the milk distributed to all schools in Turkey within the framework of ‘free milk campaign’ organized jointly by the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.

Mustafa Toprak, Governor of Diyarbakýr where over 300 children were taken to hospital, denied the cases of poisoning and claimed that the problem of children was psychological.
