Justice Minister Sadullah Ergin has confirmed on Friday that four officials at Pozantý Juvenile Detention Center were removed from their posts amids allegation of sexual abuse against kids held in the prison. Among the four is deputy director of the detention center. Ergin has also added that 200 minors in the prison will soon be transferred to Sincan Prison, where they will stay in single rooms.

The Justice Ministry announced in a statement published on Sunday that three inspectors were sent to the Pozantý Juvenile Detention Center to launch an investigation into claims made in July of last year by the Human Rights Association that a young inmate was raped at the Adana-based institution.
