“Free jailed MPs” demo in Vienna
Action demanding freedom for Selahattin Demirtaş, Figen Yüksekdağ and other MPs of the HDP who are behind bars.
A demonstration was held in Austrian capital Vienna demanding freedom for jailed deputies of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).
The action held under the motto “Free Yüksekdağ and jailed MPs”, was organised by the Democratic Platform of Austria in front of the Opera House.
A statement was made by Yoldaş Devrim of the Platform in the name of the demonstrators.
The demo ended with the slogans “Down with the fascist Turkish state”, “Free prisoners”, “Free Yüksekdağ” and “Free deputies”.
