Gang members wounded in Til Xelef hospitalized in Urfa

Nine members of the al-Qaeda affiliated ISIS (the Islamic state of Iraq and ash-Sham) and al-Nusra Front fighting against YPG (People's Defense Units) forces in western Kurdistan have been hospitalized in the province of Urfa.

Five militants of the armed groups, including two high-ranking leaders, were taken to the Balıklıgöl Hospital, while four others in critical situation were transferred to hospitals in Urfa after receiving treatment in the district of Akçakale.

According to the reports received, the nine gang members were wounded in the “Martyr Çekjin Efrin Revolutionary Operation” launched by YPG fighters on 2 September.
