A German delegation under the presidency of a deputy of the German Green party and the vice president of the parliament, Claudia Roth, met with HDP deputies in Suruç. They took information about the resistance of Kobanê and about the condition of the people fleeing from Kobanê from the attacks by the ISIS gangs.

They received information about the refugees and Kobanê.

The delegation was also informed about the resistance of the YPG-YPJ, the people in Kobanê and the people taking shelter in Suruç. The delegation visited the refugees accommodated in the tent cities and the buildings belonging to the municipality after the meeting.

Roth, speaking with the women refugees through a translator, gave the promise that they would do whatever they could, and she hugged the children.

Meanwhile, the vice president of CHP Sezgin Tanrıkulu and CHP Antep deputy Mehmet Şener and CHP executives also came to the town. The CHP delegation meeting with the HDP deputy İbrahim Ayhan in Suruç Municipality, will carry out some official contacts.
