According to reports coming through a two-stage attack has been organized by Kurdish guerrilla in Çemiþgezek. It is understood that the HPG (People's Defence Forces) have attacked the Gendarmerie command as well as other military and police building in the area.

After the attack the Turkish army sent two Cobra helicopters to bomb the area around the attack.
