Kurdish guerrillas fired automatic weapons at a military vehicle in Diyarbakir, wounding seven people including four soldiers.

The governor's office said Tuesday that the attack occurred near the town of Hani late Monday.

According to local sources an army unit was returning from a mission when it's attacked by Kurdish guerillas.

Kurdish guerrillas also raided a construction site and burned three machines in a separate attack near Diyarbakir.
