Serhat Migration Monitoring Association (Göç-Der) co-chair Gülşen Kurt told ANF that the 2023 elections will be of great importance in the construction of a democratic republic, and that this construction will take place under the leadership of women.

Kurt said that “the 14 May elections will provide a stage for the century of women and their achievements. That's why we highlight the power of women, the organization of women and the achievements of women everywhere and in every field. We have issued a note for refugee women to help them stay in healthy areas, to end their tragedies, and to end the policies of impunity for murdered women. Refugee rights and especially women's rights were given great importance in this note. This election has a great importance on women and their organization.”

Women build life

Kurt continued: “Women build societies, societies come to life under the leadership of women. This is why the 2023 elections are of great importance for women. Women will build the future of society. We expect women to organize and participate in these election activities. The power of women is of great importance not only in the Green Left Party, but also in all civil society organizations and in all areas of life. They have the power to recreate society, organize it, and rebuild life at the same time.”
