Demirtaş won’t be brought to the courtroom for “security” reasons for the first hearing of the case he is on remand for. The case had been transferred to Sincan for “security” reasons, and the first hearing is to be held after 399 days.

Two days before the hearing, the case expected to be heard in the Sıhhiye Courthouse was transferred to the Sincan Prison Campus hall for “security” reasons. The court has also decided to not to bring Demirtaş into the courtroom for the hearing for “security” reasons as well. The hearing will be held in the Ankara High Criminal Court No.19 tomorrow. Many lawyers and national and international observers are expected to follow the hearing.
