A delegation of the HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) has left for İmralı where a meeting will take place with Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan today.

The delegation is made up of HDP group deputy co-chairs Pervin Buldan and İdris Baluken and HDP deputy co-chair Sırrı Süreyya Önder.

The HDP delegation went to Kandil and held 2 days of meetings last week, then held meetings with the government.

Last week the KCK (Kurdistan Communities Union) drew attention in particular to the stance of the government regarding ISIS gangs, stating that "the attack on Kobanê means the environment of non-conflict no longer exists".

After all these developments, statements to be made by PKK leader Abdullah Öcalan are being eagerly anticipated.
