HDP Istanbul Women's Assembly called on people to join the protest they organised in Taksim Odakule against the appointment of trustees.

The police did not allow the action and HDP deputies Züleyha Gülüm and Dilan Dirayet Taşdemir protested this arbitrary ban by blowing whistles and vowed to continue the protest against the trustees.

Before the action started police had already blocked the area where the action was planned. HDP members of the Istanbul Women's Assembly together with HDP MPs Züleyha Gülüm and Dilan Dirayet Taşdemir were not deterred and took out whistles to make noise.

with the participation of the trustee against the occupation of the police in Taksim Odakule was blocked by the sounding action. Riot police surrounded HDP deputies Gülüm and Taşdemir and tried to prevent press members to record the action.

Deputies Gülüm and Taşdemir said the struggle against the appointment of trustees and women's murders will continue.
