HDP MP: Does ISIS sell Êzidî women and children in Turkey?

HDP MP Ali Atalan took the allegations that ISIS sells Êzidî women and children in Turkey to the parliament.

HDP Mardin MP Ali Atalan submitted a parliamentary question, asking for an answer from Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, regarding the allegations of 'Êzidî slave markets’ in Turkey.

In the parliamentary question, Atalan said the following:

“There have been media reports that ISIS members who crossed into Turkey from Iraq and Syria have exported their ‘slave markets’, in which they sell the Êzidî women they hold captive, to Turkey.

There are serious claims that ISIS sells Êzidî women and children in Turkey’s capital Ankara, and the cities of Antep and Urfa, as slaves.

Is the allegation in question true? Have you received any such intelligence?

If the allegation is true, who are responsible for this human trafficking, which constitutes a crime against humanity? Has any investigation been launched against these people?

Do you consider making a statement to public opinion regarding these claims?

Which measures have you taken in the face of the ‘slave trade’ claims that have remarkably increased in Turkey during the past two years, especially in Antep and Urfa cities?

Has any investigation been started with regard to the allegations concerning ‘ISIS organization and slave trade in Antep’ that has been reported about by various media outlets including TV-radio stations in Germany?
