HDP’s Buldan: Let’s use this opportunity to write our future

The HDP co-chair said in Izmir the people can make history on Sunday.

Thousands of people joined the final HDP rally in Izmir. HDP co-chair and MP candidate, Pervin Buldan, addressed the crowd and said: “We will meet tomorrow all together.”

Buldan said that “the people of Izmir on Sunday will write history. This is the day to bring those responsible, the government, to account.”

The HDP co-chair and candidate added that “Tomorrow all people will go to the polls to choose their future. HDP and our presidential candidate Selahattin Demirtaş will come out of the polls.”

Buldan underlined that “the government is afraid of Demirtaş and of the HDP. There is such a great unease that every day the President of this country is trying to smear HDP and Demirtaş with crass lies”.

Only on Friday, said Buldan “the President said he still can’t believe how people can vote for the HDP. And we say to him, that’s easy, ask Bilal and he will tell you how the HDP get votes.”

Buldan added: “Erdoğan is insulting people while Demirtaş is promising them hope. Sunday will provide a great opportunity to people to switch from darkness to light. The possibility to make the dream of a democratic country where there is no State of Emergency, where the judiciary is independent and problems are discussed is in our hands”.
