HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) Central Executive Board has released a statement about the armed attack that targeted the party headquarters office in Çankaya district of Ankara last night.

HDP warned the government, saying that; “Those who suppose they will halt and intimidate us by means of such provocations will see that they are are wrong.”

The party underlined that “We will not surrender to this besotted mentality, nor allow this miserable mindset to darken the future of the country.”

HDP continued by vowing to continue the struggle for equality, democracy, peace and justice with determination in all areas, and to become the greatest assurance of peace and justice by getting into the parliament in the wake of June 7 general elections.

Urging the government to ensure election safety, HDP added that they expected the perpetrators to be uncovered as immediate as possible.
