HDP Youth Council pays tribute to Martyrs of May

Tribute to the Martyrs of 18 May, to Haki Karer and "the 4 of Diyarbakir prison", Ferhat Kurtay, Eşref Anyık, Mahmut Zengin and Necmi Öner
The Youth Council of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) paid tribute to the martyrs of May.
In a statement the HDP Youth Council said: "It is a great source of strength for all those who struggle for living together with the spirit of freedom, equality and solidarity, to have such symbols represented by the Martyrs of 18 May."
The statement continued: "Comrade İbrahim Kaypakkaya, who fell martyr and took his place in history on 18 May 1973 did not fell to torture and would be the light for his comrades in the revolution path."
The statement also paid tribute to Haki Karer who fell martyr in Antep on 18 May 1977 and to "the 4 of Diyarbakir prison", Ferhat Kurtay, Eşref Anyık, Mahmut Zengin and Necmi Öner who immolated themselves on 18 May 1982.
