HPG Press Office reported in a written statement that guerrilla units conducted 2 sabotage actions against gendarmerie teams on the highway between Soma and Kırkağaç districts of Manisa province on April 28th.

The first action by HPG guerrillas targeted the gendarmerie teams mobilized on the highway and the second hit the Turkish forces reinforced to the area for intervention.

HPG said more than 20 members of Turkish gendarmerie teams died as a result of the sabotage action.
