HPG detained four people in Bitlis -UPDATE
Three teachers and one specialist sergeant were detained by HPG guerrillas following the clashes in Buzlupýnar area of Bitlis on Thursday night.
Two village guards were wounded during the clashes in Buzlupýnar area, while three others were wounded after Peoples Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas raided their position area in Kevnar region which is located at a distance of 23 km from Karýnca military post. As Chief village guard Seyfettin Güler was reported to be in a critical situation on Thursday night, one of the wounded village guards died on Friday. The name of dead guard isn't disclosed yet.
Following the clashes in the area, HPG guerrillas performed id control on two passenger cars on Diyarbakýr way and detained one specialist sergeant and three teachers, one of them being a woman.
A large number of military units from Siirt and special operation police teams from Bitlis were sent to the scene as of early morning hours on Friday. The operation in the area is reported continuing intensely.
