People's Defence Forces Press Centre (HPG-BIM) has reported in a written statement that HPG guerrillas carried out an action targeting two cobra type helicopters of the Turkish army performing reconnaissance flights over the Kato Marinos region of Botan yesterday.

According to the statement, two Turkish helicopters left the area after being targeted by fire opened with heavy weapons yesterday afternoon.

HPG-BIM stated that Turkish warplanes also carried out reconnaissance flights over the Zap region of the Media Defence Areas under the control of HPG guerrillas.

The statement said that HPG guerrillas also carried out a warning action against a military post under construction in Pıra Sor village of Dersim's Pülümür district on Friday afternoon.

HPG-BIM added that Turkish UAVs performed an intense reconnaissance flight over this region after the warning action by the guerrillas.
