HPG: Six soldiers died in recent operations
In a statement on the operations, clashes and guerrilla actions on 15-17 June, Peoples Defense Foces (HPG) reported that six soldiers died in the recent military activity in the Kurdish territory.
HPG-BIM stated that four soldiers died in clashes in Karayazý district of Erzurum on 15 June and gave information about a guerrilla action which targeted a scorpion type military vehicle near the village of Biyê in Hakkari in the same day. Two Turkish soldiers died and two others were wounded in the action, noted HPG-BIM and added that guerrilla-controlled Media Defense Areas were intensely bombarded by the Turkish army on 16-17 June.
