HPG (People's Defense Forces) has released a statement today denying any involvement with the bomb planted yesterday in Ankara. The Kurdish guerrillas pointed out that those who tried to link the bomb with the PKK is doing so deliberately to discredit the organization. The HPG said in its statement that it has "nothing to do with the bomb in Ankara" and added that “Attempts to hold the PKK responsible for the attack aims to boost enmity against Kurds and to target Kurdish civilians.”
