After the protest act by Peace Mothers Initiative, one other human shield march has been started in Federal Kurdistan Region. Hundreds of people from Kirkuk, Hawler, Sulaimaniyah, Mahmur, Zaxo, Germiyan and Sêmêlê have set off towards the intensive air attack area Kandil.

Following the protest march to Sýrnak and Hakkari border points under the leadership of Peace Mothers Initiative two days ago, hundreds of people from many provinces of Federal Kurdistan Region have departed this morning towards Kandil where seven people-five of them children-were targeted and killed by Turkish warplanes yesterday. Hundreds of human shields, including children, youngsters, women and elders, will reportedly go to Kandil after a visit in Ranya to the family of seven people who lost their lives yesterday.
