Hundreds gather in Darmstadt and Hildesheim for the Long March

The Long March started by Kurds for the freedom of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan continues in Germany. The march to Mainz and Wiesbaden state parliaments will end with a rally.

Over 100 Kurds from Mannheim, Mainz, Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Giessen Kurdish Society Centers gathered in Luisenplatz. A press statement was read before the march started and the crowd moved towards Mainz. The march will end with a rally in front of the Wiesbaden State Parliament on Friday.

Niedersachsen State March started in Hildesheim at 10:00 today. The march will continue for 3 days. Tomorrow the march will take up where they left off at 10:00 in front of the Sarstedt Bahnhofen, Kurdistanis and German allies will march towards Hannover Anderten.

The march continues with slogans of "Ji Öcalan re azadi", "Freiheit für Öcalan", “Freedom for Öcalan, Status for Kurdistan”.
