The indefinite hunger strike carried out in Strasbourg by 14 Kurdish activists, including former deputy Dilek Öcalan and co-chair of Kurdish Democratic Society of Europe (KCDK-E), Yüksel Koç has entered its 44th day.

Today, the resistance that has been spreading in dozens of European cities and hunger strikers is accompanied by thousands of Kurds.
On Tuesday a large group of women and a group of Kurdish citizens from Switzerland visited the hunger strikers in Strasbourg. Likewise activists were visited by delegations from Ludwigsburg People's Council and Women's Council.
Visitors exchanged views and thoughts with the hunger strikers and they spoke about the current political process.
The Kurdish women from Ludwigsburg emphasized that resistance against the isolation regime imposed on Öcalan marked a very important stage. Underlining that Öcalan is the leader of the Kurdish people, women called on all Kurdistan people living in Europe to stand with the hunger strikers.
The hunger strikers in Strasbourg are: Kurdish Democratic Society Congress-Europe (KCDK-E) co-chair Yüksel Koç, HDP Urfa former MP Dilek Öcalan, Kurdish politician Mustafa Sarıkaya and journalist Gülistan Çiya İke, Nurgül Başaran, Ramazan İmir, Mehmet Nimet Sevim, Mohamad Ghaderi, Sea Racing, Ayvaz Ece, Kardo Bokani, Kerem Solhan, Agit Ural and Ekrem Yılmaz.
