Engineers and Architects in Revolutionary Struggle group has started a one-day hunger strike at Yüksel Street of Ankara for the opening of all mass graves and for the disinterment of Ali Yýldýz from the mass grave in Çemiþgezek/Dersim where he was buried after losing his life in a clash in 1997.
Besides the hunger strike, the group has also launched a signature campaign to express their demands. The group emphasized that their act is a support to the struggle and indefinite hunger strike of Hüsnü Yýldýz who is on the 57th day of the hunger strike he started in Dersim to demand the opening of the mass grave where his brother is buried. The group said; “We can’t make any references to humanity or democracy in a country where a person doesn’t even have a gravestone which is deserved by everyone.”
